RROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Building and maintaining data pipelines and automation scripts for reporting, reconciliation, and ticket management
* Optimize design for efficient storage and processing; reducing cost while improving performance
* Implement security controls using IAM roles, compliance to data governance and retention policies
* Designing and configuring related tools and platforms
* Continuously evaluate and improve automation workflows for high availability, scalability, and performance.
* Stay up to date with new GCP services and best practices, integrating them when beneficial.
Required
Skills & Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in automating cloud infrastructure and services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
* Strong hands-on experience with Cloud Functions, Big Query, and Cloud Storage.
* Experience with integrating ticketing tools (e.g., Zendesk, Service Now, AWS or similar platforms) into cloud environments.
* Familiarity with APIs of popular ticketing tools to extract, transform, and load (ETL) ticket data into cloud platforms.
* Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Appscript, Java
* Experience in data modeling and query optimization for Big Query.
* Ability to work with large datasets, build complex queries, and provide insights via reports or dashboards.
* Strong understanding of IAM (Identity and Access Management) within GCP.
* Familiarity with cloud security best practices to ensure compliance and protect sensitive customer data.
Preferred Qualifications
* Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer.
* Google Cloud Professional Cloud Dev Ops Engineer or similar GCP certifications.
