Education Requirement
  • Master’s degree (M.A.) or four to ten years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Responsibility Overview
  • Assessment:
    Review client history, conduct thorough assessments or screenings, communicate results to clients and families, and document findings.
  • Planning:
    Identify needs, establish treatment goals, and communicate plans to clients, families, and healthcare team members; collaborate for timely discharge planning.
  • Implementation:
    Prioritize and implement treatment interventions based on client needs; document daily interventions.
  • Evaluation:
    Evaluate intervention effectiveness, reassess care plans, and communicate changes to clients/families; complete discharge documentation.
  • Program Development & Professional Growth:
    Develop new programs, supervise students, provide training, participate in continuing education, and engage in facility in services and committees.
