Heiser is looking for smart, energetic, technically focused Body Shop Technicians who will help redefine the car servicing experience.

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for repairing damaged bodies of vehicles and or parts in accordance with factory specifications.
  • Prepare and repair vehicle per estimate according to manufacturer standards.
  • Repair vehicle with attention to detail.
  • Work as a team player to ensure on-time delivery of vehicles.
  • Meet our Collision Center's requirement for productivity.
  • Maintain tools and equipment.
  • File, grind, sand and smooth filled or repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations with hazardous waste disposal.
  • Positive attitude and fix it right the first time.
  • Remove damaged sections of vehicles using metal-cutting guns, air grinders and wrenches, and install replacement parts using wrenches or welding equipment.
  • Follow supervisors' instructions as to which parts to restore or replace and how much time the job should take.
  • Inspect repaired vehicles for dimensional accuracy and test drive to ensure proper alignment and handling.
Qualifications
  • I-Car preferred but not needed. Must be willing to continue learning thru GM and I-Car training.
  • Must hold valid driver's license.
  • Working knowledge of shop equipment.
  • Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background & drug test).
