Novant Health Child & Adolescent Medical Group - Wesley Chapel is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)!
Novant Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to coordinate and assist the provider to ensure safe, quality/cost‑effective service and care for the people within the practice population.
What You’ll Do- Room patients and prepare them for provider visits.
- Measure and record vital signs accurately.
- Administer vaccines following proper protocols.
- Perform blood work, including finger sticks; venipuncture is preferred but not required.
- Collaborate closely with the physician during patient care.
- Assist the RN with managing tasks in the in-basket system.
- Education:
High School Diploma or GED, required.- Must be a graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program; curriculum must include pharmacology and medication administration. Certification/registry must be obtained by the last day of the sixth month of hire, and an education agreement signed. Accepted certifications/registries include CMA (AAMA), CCMA (NHA), RMA (AMT), American Registry of Medical Assistants (NHCWA), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP), American Allied Health (AAH), and ARMA.
Alternative work experience requirements apply if not already certified or registered on hire.

Ability to successfully complete generic and department‑specific skills validation and competency testing.
