Position Summary
Be a part of a great team with a common goal – making sure members can find more of what they love, for less. Merchandising & stocking associates connect all of the dots to make sure members can find everything they have on their shopping list. Depending on the shift you work, your job could include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick-up orders or helping members while stocking shelves.
This fast-paced job can be physically demanding.
$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr
What you'll do- Promptly unload trucks
- Assist fellow associates as needed throughout the store
- Sort and stock products on shelves and in the backroom
- Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- Assist with picking club pick up orders and staging according to company policy
- Provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; guide and support members regarding self-service technology; assist with purchasing decisions; locate merchandise; resolve issues; and promote products and services.
- Maintain safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials per guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
- Maintain sales floor and merchandise presentation by zoning, stocking, arranging, cleaning and organizing displays, signing and pricing merchandise, identifying shrink, and securing fragile/high-shrink items.
- Monitor product quality and rotation, ensure code dating and sanitation standards, and display promotional and seasonal merchandise.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethics; apply Open Door Policy and integrate into business processes and practices.
- Collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; manage priorities, deadlines, and progress; address improvement opportunities and adapt to feedback.
- Support club pick up orders with selection and staging per policy.
