• Sign on bonus $10,000 (eligible candidates)
• Relocation assistance up to $10,000 (eligible candidates)
• Shift: Regular days position
• Participates in direct patient care across geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric populations, analyzing and interpreting patient‑specific information to assess and re‑assess individual nursing care plans.
• Demonstrates critical thinking skills when interpreting changes in patients’ immediate post‑operative conditions.
• Communicates patient information to all appropriate caregivers to ensure effective continuum of care.
• Manages and interprets all patient monitoring devices in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) environment competently.
• Provides accurate, timely documentation, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver competent, effective, cost‑efficient patient care.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Minimum Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing upon hire
• Minimum of one year experience as a Registered Nurse in a PACU or critical care setting upon hire
• Active Florida RN or APRN license required upon hire
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or RQI upon hire
• Current American Heart Association Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification or RQI upon hire
• Current American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or RQI upon hire
• Current NIHSS upon hire
• 8 hours of Stroke Education within 6 months of hire date, then annually
• 8 hours Hip & Knee Replacement / Spine Education within 6 months of hire date, then annually
