Bay Care Hospital Wesley Chapel is currently seeking a Registered Nurse – Stat RN ER to join our outstanding and compassionate Nursing Administration team.

The Stat RN is a fast‑paced position that will respond to emergency codes house‑wide and may be providing care for a patient during the immediate period afterwards, assist all clinical departments when busy, including ICU and ED, and help to precept/guide the team.

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development.
• Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
• RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
• ACLS Certification, if required by department
• PALS Certification is preferred.
• Nurse Specialty certification is preferred

• Associate’s degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred

• 2 years of RN experience is required.
• 1 year of RN experience in the ER is preferred.
