- The Lab Medical Assistant II is responsible for:
- Collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing
- Communications with nursing regarding patient specimens
- Referring specimens to outside laboratories
- Interaction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab tests
- Performance of phlebotomy procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Required
- 6 months Phlebotomy, Laboratory related; or related field
- Required High School or equivalent
- Or Bachelors related field in lieu of experience
- Driver's License
- Preferred Phlebotomy
