Advent Health is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care during night shifts on a contract basis at the Wesley Chapel location.

Pay Range$15.00 – $130.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
Job DescriptionDeliver routine respiratory treatments and continuous therapy, including aerosol therapy, lung expansion therapy, oxygen therapy, and bronchial hygiene. Monitor, instruct, and coach patients before, during, and after treatment. Prevent and resolve untoward side effects, adjust therapies per protocol and clinical criteria, and reevaluate patient/ventilator interface every four hours. Initiate and maintain mechanical ventilation, determine ventilator mode and settings, and facilitate weaning processes.
Draw and analyze arterial and capillary blood gases, place arterial lines, and recommend changes in respiratory management based on blood gas results and other clinical data.
- Associate degree (required);
High School Graduate or equivalent (required) - State‑issued certification:
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Med Certification (NEONATAL MED)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
