Summary Do you enjoy working with toddlers and helping them learn and grow? Kiddie Academy of Wiregrass Ranch is looking for caring and dependable Toddler/Twos Lead and Assistant Teachers to join our team. At Kiddie Academy, we believe learning should be fun and meaningful. Our Life Essentials® curriculum supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. As a Lead or Assistant Teacher, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for our youngest learners.

What You’ll Do:

• Create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
• Plan and implement lessons and activities that spark curiosity, independence, and discovery.
• Guide children through daily routines including meals, potty training, rest time, and play.
• Use positive guidance strategies to support social and emotional growth.
• Track each child’s developmental milestones and share progress with families.
• Communicate effectively with parents through daily reports, conferences, and conversations.
• Collaborate with assistant teachers and academy leadership to maintain a high-quality program.
• Maintain compliance with Florida licensing standards and Kiddie Academy policies.

Requirements

• Experience in childcare or preschool settings is essential.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and educational practices.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and staff.
• Ability to create a positive learning environment through effective behavior management.

• 45 Hour DCF Training Completion
• CDA Certification
