Ford Service Technician

This person will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing customer vehicles. Areas of expertise include but are not limited to engine, transmission, drivability, cooling system, brake system, electronics, steering, suspension, and HVAC.

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and according to dealership standards
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional services needed and provide repair estimates
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

• High School diploma
• At least 2 years of experience as an auto Service Technician
• ASE Certification is a plus
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Team player with a valid driver’s license
• Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, and operate diagnostic equipment
