• Provide customer service to visitors and store associates by following Allied Universal security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, receiving docks, parking areas, and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter loss and/or security‑related incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, using de‑escalation techniques, coordinating with management and/or local law enforcement as directed, and taking appropriate action within post orders.
• Control access to non‑public areas, monitor entrances and exits, and check doors, gates, and loading areas for signs of unauthorized entry and/or policy violations.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports such as patrol logs and incident reports, communicate key information to on‑site contacts and the Allied Universal chain of command, and maintain required armed post qualifications and equipment in accordance with policy.

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
