Position: Memory Care Support Partner

Position Type: Full Time

Location: Wentzville, Missouri

Starting wage: $19.00–$21.00 per hour

Tuesday through Saturday, 3:00pm–11:00pm

• To be an “Advocate of Empathy”: understand the importance of empathy and create human connection with residents during vulnerable moments.
• To be a Patient Observer: discover residents’ interests and abilities; collaborate to create engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.
• To be a Master of the Mise en Scène: prepare the environment to support the resident’s day, including dining, activities, and night routines; guide the resident’s daily experience.
• To be a Life Partner: partner with residents to support all facets of daily life from wake to night.
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and changes in condition.
• Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• You will have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive, energetic attitude and a love for residents.
• Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
• Active; ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and post-fall assistance.
• Criminal background clearance.
