Bring Compassionate Psychiatric Care to Underserved Communities as a Key Member of Our Rural Health Team
This position can be based out of any Compass Health Network location.
We’re seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to join our mission-driven team serving rural Missouri communities. As part of our integrated behavioral health program within a Certified Community Behavioral Health Organization (CCBHO) and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering strength-based, person-centered psychiatric services where they’re needed most.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans
Provide ongoing psychiatric treatment and medication management
Offer expert consultation and recommendations to the care team
Oversee psychiatric treatment for individuals in rehabilitation services
Document care in alignment with clinical and compliance standards
Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Doctorate degree from an approved accredited medical school required
• Completion of an accredited residency program in psychiatry leading to Board eligibility required
Missouri licensure
QUALIFICATION(S): WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Experience with community mental health, outpatient setting/inpatient setting with serious and persistent mentally ill adult and/or child, adolescent population; co-occurring population (SMI and substance abuse) preferred
• Basic computer skills along with transcription experience and use of e prescribe preferred
