Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking to fill multiple Highway Maintenance Worker 2 positions in Wenatchee, WA. These journey-level positions are members of the regional maintenance organization tasked with working with and assisting other WSDOT work groups. These positions may be situationally assigned to work with and under a number of different work group structures depending on needs of the region on a day to day basis.
These positions will perform a variety of skilled highway maintenance tasks while maintaining personal, co‑worker and public safety as a primary objective in the planning and performance of all work assignments. Highway Maintenance Workers on these crews will be responsible for maintenance and repair of highways, bridges, overpasses, and other highway structures to ensure the safe and efficient movement of people and commerce.
In these roles, you will also perform a variety of skilled maintenance tasks and may occasionally lead a crew in the absence of a Highway Maintenance Worker 3.
