As a Field Technician you will install and repair services, educate customers on their use, and solve technical challenges while working in a dynamic outdoor environment. This entry‑level role provides training and a clear career path from Technician I to Technician IV, along with industry‑recognized certifications.

Field Technicians work outdoors, using hand tools in diverse environments. You will receive support to build confidence, solve complex technical issues, and maximize potential through on‑the‑job training, a broadband apprenticeship program, and career self‑progression.

• Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Schedule: Ability to travel during inclement weather to customer premises, company facilities, and other locations.
• Language: Fluent in English.
• Technical skills: Proficiency with computers, software applications, and hand tools.
• Abilities: Effective communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, responsibility, and reliability.
• Driver’s license: Valid with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Physical: Walk various terrains and weather conditions while carrying tools; lift up to 75 lbs; climb ladders up to 32 feet; work in confined spaces and at heights; operate a company vehicle; work outdoors in any season.

Base pay ranges from $20.00 to $27.80 per hour, with bonuses and incentive-based compensation available. Spectrum complies with local wage minimums and offers a comprehensive benefits package supporting well‑being at all career stages.
