Essential Job Duties
Recreation Leaders help conduct recreation programs and events. We are always accepting applications from positive, enthusiastic and energetic people that enjoy working with people. The majority of temporary hours available throughout the year are during evenings and weekends. Daytime hours are available more regularly in the summer months.
The City of Wenatchee has adopted a policy measuring the 'full-time' status of temporary employees over 12-months for purposes of benefit eligibility. Temporary employees with assignments less than 6-months are not eligible for benefits with exception of participation in the WA State Department of Retirement System (DRS) as long as DRS eligibility requirements are met (compensated for at least 70 hours per month for five months in a 12-month period).

There will be no retro activity applied to benefits or any other employment terms and conditions should regular employment be offered at a future date.
