Salary range: $62.98 – $73.08 per hour.

Provides primary and specialized health care services to hospital and clinic patients. Performs examinations and provides treatment for minor/routine problems; performs or orders diagnostic tests; establishes diagnoses; prescribes medication; instructs patients and family members about continuing care.
Reports to:
Practice Manager.
- Provide primary and specialized health care to patients, including examination, diagnosis, and treatment of chronic and acute illnesses and minor injuries. Refers to physician as needed.
- Write prescriptions and perform office procedures within scope, protocols, and available equipment.
- Educate patients and families and help them understand health-related issues.
- Participate in health promotional activities.
- Participate in decisions, planning, and policies related to clinical care.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records in compliance with organizational policy.
- Refer patients to specialty services when appropriate.
- Provide professional medical services within scope of training and responsibility, in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Support physicians with on‑call responsibilities.
- Record statistics and conduct research as deemed necessary.
- Collaborate with staff and physicians to identify patient needs and develop plans to meet them.
- Maintain active Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Active Physician Assistant licensure with prescriptive authority in the state of Washington, required by start date.
