Job Description & How to Apply Below

Diamond Foundry Inc. is solving the thermal limitation at the foundation of today's most exciting tech industries -- AI & cloud compute, electric-car power electronics, and 5G/6G wireless. We have managed to produce the world's first single-crystal diamond wafers and are now on a mission to put a diamond behind every chip. We are the rare unicorn that has grown fast and profitably.

We received $515m in funding and are executing a multi-$B expansion plan for one of the greenest forms of tech manufacturing: converting greenhouse gas into diamond wafers using zero-emission energy.

We are looking for an ambitious, experienced manufacturing process technician to join our team. In this role, you will join a team of highly skilled process technicians and engineers. We are looking for quick learners with a proven ability to work with less support. This role involves working directly with proprietary plasma reactor technology to produce high-quality diamonds and assist the engineering team with technical and non-technical needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Process Sheets and document changes as needed.
  • Monitor processes on a daily basis. Adjust where appropriate and notify Process Engineers on critical issues.
  • Work with team members and independently with a high degree of initiative to support and maintain good manufacturing processes and continuous improvements.
  • Assist with process validations, DOE execution, optimizations, and process-sustaining audits.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety procedures.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in a technical field, military-technical training with 4+ years of experience, or 5+ years of work experience in a related technical field. Fresh out‑of‑college graduates with STEM degrees are encouraged to apply. Preferred:
    Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to perform critical tasks with a high level of accuracy per procedures. Preferred:
Being knowledgeable about SPC and yield quality metrics.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and documentation experience are highly desired.
  • Effective at communicating data through text, graphics, and images to audiences of all experience levels.

$24 - $35 an hour

Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s job duties, experience, and expertise. We will also consider higher‑level candidates and wages will be adjusted accordingly.
