Locum Primary Care Physician Assistant – Wenatchee, WA ($75–$85/hr)
Join Aya Locums for an immediate opening in Wenatchee, WA. The position pays $75 to $85 per hour for 13 weeks, starting 01‑05‑26. This is a scheduled primary care PA role covering standard 5‑shift (8‑hour, 19:00 – 07:00) with no call and scheduled coverage as needed.

Schedule:

- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Conduct patient histories and physical examinations.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications.
- Perform procedures as authorized by state regulations and the supervising physician.
- Educate and counsel patients on preventative care and health management.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Document medical records accurately and thoroughly.
- Stay current on advancements in medicine through continuing education.
- Strong clinical knowledge and assessment skills in a specific area of medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and the healthcare team.
- Proficiency in performing relevant physical examinations and procedures.
- Critical thinking and decision‑making skills to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Time management and organizational skills to manage a patient workload effectively.
- Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree from an accredited program.
- Active and unencumbered PA license in Washington.
- National certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Most positions prefer candidates with at least one year of clinical experience in their specialty.
- Locum tenens PA positions are temporary, lasting weeks or months to address staffing shortages.
