7.5TN Delivery Driver – Wembley, London, UK

We are recruiting 7.5 tn Drivers on a 12‑week Temp‑Perm basis for our client, one of the world’s largest suppliers of paint and decorating materials. Deliver from the Wembley depot to store locations in and around London.

• Days:
  Monday – Friday (possible Sundays)
• Time: 07:00 AM – 04:00 PM
• Adhoc roster – must be flexible with availability (weekends included)

• £17.00 per hour

• 7.5T Delivery Driver
• Multi‑drop deliveries of decorating material in and around London
• 3 – 4 runs from depot to retail outlet
• Loading and unloading cages at each drop
• Collecting returns
• Logging vehicle mileage and load weight
• Ensuring load is safe and secure
• Vehicle checks
• Following EU working time driving regulations

• Ability to deal face‑to‑face with clients and colleagues and handle any initial queries in a professional and courteous manner
• Able to work in a busy, fast‑paced delivery time‑critical environment
• Ability to work independently with good team‑player skills
• Upholding company reputation and acting as an ambassador of the company brand
• Good communication skills, ability to liaise with central office where required
• Be reliable and flexible with a can‑do attitude
• Previous removals and storage experience desirable (not compulsory)
• To be considered for this position you must comply with the following:
• Maximum of 6 minor points
• Minimum 2‑year 7.5 tn driving experience
• Must have previous home delivery experience
• Must have driven at least 180 days in the UK in the last 2 years
• Have a UK driver’s licence
• Have valid CPC and digital Tacho card
• Pass working time and Highway Code tests
• Follow all UK and working time directive laws
• Good understanding of English, written and verbal
• Pass a manual and written assessment
• Be willing to undertake and pass a drug and alcohol test
