Location: Wembley
Start Date: April 2026

  • Position 1:
    Full-time, Permanent
  • Position 2:
    Part-time (0.6 FTE), Permanent

An established and forward-thinking institution in the Wembley area is seeking two Economics Teachers to join their department from April 2026. The successful candidates will deliver high-quality A-Level Economics and contribute to continued student success.

The Role

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Economics lessons at A-Level, assessing student progress, and supporting learners to achieve their full potential. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Essential Requirements
  • Recent experience teaching Economics to students aged 16+
  • A relevant teaching qualification
  • Proven experience delivering A-Level Economics
  • Current Enhanced DBS
  • Availability to start in April 2026

Job-Specific Requirements
  • Ability to teach the full range of Economics courses
  • Strong subject knowledge, with experience in planning and assessing learning
  • Awareness of current curriculum developments and curriculum design
  • Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and parents
  • Effective classroom management of individuals, groups, and whole classes
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise departmental tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships
