Overview
This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Nursing, based in Welsh, LA. The Director of Nursing will oversee nursing operations, manage and mentor staff, ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations. Responsibilities include implementing infection control measures, coordinating with medical teams, maintaining policies and procedures, and improving processes in long-term care management.
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and leadership in creating a positive and efficient environment are key aspects of this role.
- Strong expertise in Nursing, Nursing Management, and Long-term Care
- In-depth knowledge of Infection Control protocols and implementation
- Proficient understanding of Medicine and healthcare regulations
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage teams, and improve processes effectively
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Current and valid registered nursing (RN) license
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in nursing or related field preferred
- Experience in long-term care facilities is highly preferred
