The Accounting Associate for HENDERSON FAMILY ENTERPRISES will provide support to Henderson Implement & Marine, the leading dealer of boats, tractors, and offroad vehicles in Lake Charles, and Henderson Wholesale, a multi-state distributor of Hunt Brothers Pizza. Note:
This position has the option to work a portion of the week in Lake Charles.
- Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Process Financial Data in Accounting Systems
- Process Bank Transactions
- Process Inventory Transfers and Sales Batches
- Process Equipment Unit Sales
- Organize and Maintain Financial Records and Files
- Reconcile assigned Balance Sheet & Income Statement Accounts
- Support Month-end and Year-end Closing processes
- Cross-train with other Associates to assist when someone is out of the office
- Provide General and Administrative Support to the Accounting Team
- Accounting/Bookkeeping experience
- Able to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic
