Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Tunbridge Wells – 3 months temp

Invictus are recruiting for an electrical maintenance engineer to complete PPM and reactive maintenance on a static critical building in Tunbridge Wells. The client is looking for IMMEDIATE engineers for a temporary vacancy lasting 3 months, with a possibility of extension or becoming permanent. The client is a leading body within the facilities maintenance industry, and the contract is a large commercial office on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells.

The position is Monday to Friday, 8‑5, paying up to £28 per hour. This role offers the opportunity to become permanent.

• Ensure PPMs and reactive maintenance is completed
• Work on the electrical systems, lighting, emergency lighting, display lighting, sockets, switchboards, fuses, distribution, basic BMS and controls
• Ensure all statutory requirements are maintained
• Assist with general upkeep and fabric maintenance
• Act as an integral member of the team to ensure the smooth running of a large critical site

Successful candidate MUST have:

• Electrically trained with at least 3 years experience in commercial building maintenance and services
• Possession of a 17th or 18th edition qualification
• Level 3 Electrical installation qualification
• Well presented with good interpersonal skills, as this is a client‑facing role
