This full‑time night shift opportunity offers 36 hrs per week, full benefits, and the chance for overtime and additional shifts if desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Serve as a professional leader and support to the healthcare team.
• Apply Patient‑Centered Care concepts to guide all nursing activities.
• Demonstrate Service Excellence at all times.
• Recognize signs of stroke, call a stroke alert, document the alert process, perform NIHSS, assist with swallow screening, and support telemedicine consults.
• Assist with administration of thrombolytic therapy and preparation for endovascular treatment as indicated.
• Maintain currency in stroke knowledge by completing NIHSS training and at least 8 hrs of stroke‑related training annually.

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN‑approved RN program.
• Prefer one year full‑time or three years part‑time experience in an acute care setting.
• BLS (current upon hire)
• ACLS, PALS, and/or required specialty training or course completion within three months of employment.
• Current Florida nursing license.
• Must successfully pass any pre‑employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
