An experienced Senior Project Manager is required to ensure our more demanding and technically complex projects are delivered successfully.
- Have you managed the successful delivery of complex or critical projects?
- Can you manage any organisational change necessary to achieve project goals and ensure this is understood by all stakeholders?

The delivery of projects sits within the Business Change team, which is a business unit within the Digital Services branch. The business change team is dedicated to supporting the rest of the Department to succeed by transforming business opportunities into reality.
Skills and experience
- At least 5 years project management experience
- Extensive experience at a senior level in a variety of project management and business transformation assignments in government
- Experience in cross-agency managed projects, ICT and/or property and business change projects
- Ability to cope with a high degree of ambiguity,uncertainty and change, and balance multiple deliverables.
- Highly effective stakeholder management skills and experience in managing cross-sector stakeholders.
- PMP/PRINCE2 certified or equivalent
- The ability to coach and mentor less experienced project delivery staff

About the TeamThe Digital Services branch is responsible for strategy and enabling functions that lead and contribute to digital maturity for digital customer-centred services, across both the public sector and Te Tari Taiwhenua. Being digitally mature means being focused not only on technology, but also governance, capability, and other attributes to deliver outcomes and better value for customers. The branch supports and enables agencies and Te Tari through providing strategy, advice, and delivery to progress modern and adaptive public services.
