You'll provide exceptional service through phone, email, webchat, and face-to-face interactions. You’ll make an impact by:
- Being the vital link between our organisation and our valued customers, ensuring effective communication and support - Executing customer service tasks in alignment with established procedures to optimise the operation of the Customer Experience Centre - Staying current with Council's services, products, and activities to provide accurate and valuable information to customers - Demonstrating an understanding and grasp of Council's policies, procedures, and codes to maintain compliance and uphold high standards - Proactively identifying and addressing customer dissatisfaction, promptly escalating issues using established customer experience protocols - Cultivating strong customer relationships through engaging with customers through multiple communication channels.
What you'll bring To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Certificate III or higher in Customer Engagement, Business or equivalent competency for customer facing environments. - Relevant experience in customer service delivery in a high volume environment - Well-developed communication skills. - Well-developed computer literacy and ability to complete accurate data entry. - High level organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks with competing deadlines. - High level of flexibility, adaptability and versatility to handle multiple diverse tasks across Omni-channels.
We would also love you to have:
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes in process, practice and technology - Well-developed conflict resolution skills - Willingness to obtain a Justice of the Peace accreditation.

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $67,787 to $78,778.
