For the successful Quality Manager our client is offering;
- Salary of up to £47,000 per annum DOE
- Monday Thursday: 08.00am 16.35pm, Friday: 08.00am 13.00pm

The Role of the Quality Manager;
- Review and revise the company s quality procedures, standards and specifications
- Review customer requirements and make sure that they are met
- Work with purchasing to establish quality requirements from external suppliers
- Set standards for Quality
- Make sure that manufacturing or production processes meet international and national standards
- Look at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency
- Define quality procedures in conjunction with the operating staff
- Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures
- Monitor performance by gathering data and produce reports
- Review existing policies and make suggestions for changes and improvements, and how to implement them
- Measure performance and identify any areas of weakness, recommending and implementing improvements
- Liaise with other managers and staff and provide training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standards
- Assess the effectiveness of changes made
- Lead initiatives in Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing
- Ensure compliance with emerging standards (such as the international standard of ISO 9001:2015, IATF
16949, ISO
14001) - Train and manage a team of Quality Engineers and Quality Inspectors
What our client is looking for in a Quality Manager;
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an automotive environment - ESSENTIAL
- Previous experience developing, implementing and maintaining QMS in line with standards such as ISO
9001, IATF
16949- ESSENTIAL - Planned and conducted internal audits and supported external audits, addressed non-conformities through root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen and reduce defects, rework and waste while improving efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Perform risk assessments (FMEA) and implement preventative controls to minimise quality and operational risks
- Deliver quality awareness and compliance training across all departments
- Handled customer complaints and quality issues professionally and effectively
- Analysed Quality metrics (KPI s, defect rates, audit results) and reported performance and improvement plans to senior managers
