Mercury Hampton is recruiting a Field Service Engineer on behalf of a well-established industrial engineering business. This is a long-term, permanent opportunity for an electrically biased or multi-skilled engineer looking for autonomy, stability, and varied hands‑on work across industrial customer sites.

• Field-based servicing, maintenance and fault finding on industrial equipment
• Electrical fault finding with supporting mechanical work
• Working on motors, control panels, contractors, wiring and associated systems
• Reactive breakdown support and planned maintenance
• Customer-facing role representing the business on site
• Working independently with support from a close-knit service team

• Electrically biased or multi-skilled engineer
• Experience in field service, mobile maintenance or industrial / site-based engineering
• Confident electrical fault finding skills
• Comfortable working independently and travelling to customer sites
• Background in industrial, manufacturing, automotive or process environments
• F-Gas certification is desirable but not essential.

• Salary: £35,000 – £43,000, dependent on experience
