Production Operator

CTDI is a full service, global engineering, repair and logistics company providing best cost solutions to many of the world’s premier brands. We support the entire product life cycle, from original design input, pre-sales testing, local customisation and configuration through to our field support activities that include technical assistance as well as product repair, replacement and refurbishment programs.

CTDI is looking for a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our team who is able to work in the UK. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our operations by ensuring that customer products are handled with precision and care. As we focus on upskilling our operators, you will have the opportunity to expand your skill set and take on a variety of tasks within the production process.

• Receive and unpack products with efficiency and accuracy, ensuring attention to detail to prevent damage.
• Book in products: register into our system and ensure all relevant information is logged for tracking purposes.
• Test mobility devices and perform software upgrades to ensure products meet the latest standards.
• Quality control: inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and identify or report any defects or discrepancies.
• Packing: carefully pack products for shipping, ensure they are secure, and label packages accurately according to customer requirements.

• Understanding the principles of 5S within the area
• Understanding the importance of escalating quality issues from suppliers

This position offers some flexibility and you may be asked to contribute to areas beyond your core responsibilities. The site is located in Wellingborough.
