Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our Nursing Home. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, particularly in nursing homes and residential environments. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care to residents, including those with dementia. As the Registered Manager
, you will be responsible for developing and implementing care plans, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Supervise and oversee the day to day operations of the home, ensuring a safe, supportive and high quality care environment for all residents.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care tailored to each resident's individual needs.
- Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, including CQC standards, health and safety, and safeguarding protocols.
- Engage with families and external stakeholders to promote the facility's services and maintain strong community relationships.
- Proven experience in supervising within a nursing home or residential services(elderly/dementia).
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to effectively manage staff and engage with residents.
- In-depth knowledge of care plans, dementia care practices, and senior care regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills, capable of addressing challenges proactively within the facility.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent, or willingness to work towards it).
- Prior experience as Registered Manager or Deputy manager of elderly people/dementia care homes
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations, health and social care legislation and regulatory requirements
- Enthusiasm, passion and determination to achieve Outstanding and deliver the highest quality person centred care
- Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of the care sector, including regulatory frameworks and running a care home.
- Experience:
Nursing home: 3 years (required) - Licence/Certification: NMC (preferred)
- Location:
Wellingborough NN8 (preferred)
