• Lead the development of scalable digital applications, including backend microservices and user-facing web applications
• Guide architecture for microservices, event-driven systems, and scalable service environments
• Own engineering direction for internal service integrations and external partner APIs
• Oversee the development of modern web applications ensuring performance optimization and scalability
• Translate product roadmaps into structured engineering plans and maintain coordination between leadership and execution teams

• Minimum 12 years in software engineering, with at least 6 years in leadership roles
• Strong expertise in microservices and API-first design, as well as event-driven architectures
• Experience leading distributed engineering organizations across different geographies
• Background in supply chain, logistics, or operational platforms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Experience with modern Java-based backend frameworks (Spring preferred)
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as Google Pub/Sub or Kafka
• Exposure to warehouse, transportation, or fulfillment systems
• Experience in cloud-native environments, preferably GCP
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive structured decisions in evolving environments
