Attorney​/Lawyer

Description

We are looking for an experienced Attorney with a strong background in litigation to join our client's team in Wellesley, Massachusetts. This Contract-to-permanent position offers the opportunity to work on diverse legal cases, with a particular focus on employment law. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling all aspects of litigation, from initial client interactions to trial preparation.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.

- Manage client intake processes, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation.

- Draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.

- Oversee the discovery process, including drafting and responding to requests for information.

- Prepare cases for trial, including organizing exhibits and coordinating with witnesses.

- Provide legal counsel and representation in employment litigation cases.

- Collaborate with team members to develop effective litigation strategies.

- Stay current on legal developments and precedents relevant to ongoing cases.

Requirements

- Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.

- 5+ years of experience in civil litigation, with a preference for employment law expertise.

- Proficiency in drafting legal documents, including motions and briefs.

- Strong knowledge of discovery processes and trial preparation.

- Excellent research and analytical skills for case development.

- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

- Proven track record of handling complex litigation cases successfully.
