The Department of Religious Studies at Wellesley College invites applications for a part-time (0.4 FTE) one-year Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor in Religious Cultures of Asia, to begin in Fall 2026. The successful candidate will offer two courses, one in Fall 2026 and the other in Spring 2027. In addition to class meeting times, the applicant will hold regular office hours in person and promptly respond to student inquiries throughout the semester.
BasicQualifications
- Candidates holding PhDs and advanced ABD candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Teaching Load: 2 courses per year (one in Fall 2026, one in Spring 2027)
- Term of Appointment: 1 year, without possibility of renewal.
