** Under the direction of the Director of Accessibility and Disability Resources, the Accommodated Testing Center Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the day to day administrative operations of the accommodated testing center. The coordinator executes and coordinates daily administrative tasks necessary to run the testing center, including scheduling exams, maintaining confidential records and calendars, responding to telephone and email inquiries from students, faculty and staff, and proctoring of exams.

This role is also responsible for building relationships with students and providing ongoing support for them related to testing and accommodation needs. Candidates must be comfortable or have experience working with students with divers abilities, communication styles, mobility needs and more.
** Position Responsibility:
*** In collaboration with another administrative part-time staff member, this position will perform administrative duties, establish and maintain Accessibility and Disability Resources (ADR) procedures to manage the logistics and execute daily operations of the Accommodated Testing Center.
* Assists the department with tasks such as scheduling; reviewing, prioritizing and responding to emails; answering and returning phone calls; organizing, preparing, and proctoring of exams; maintaining records; and any other administrative tasks related to the testing center.
* Works as the main point of contact with faculty members to manage distribution and return of exams while maintaining academic integrity and professionalism in the face of challenging communications.
* Addresses honor code violations as necessary and files report to the Honor Code process.
* Supports ADR in the development of testing center goals, objectives and strategic initiatives and in implementing office procedures in support of said goals.
* Supports students with disabilities during times of heightened stress and potential emotional dysregulation. The person in this role needs to be comfortable working with and responding to students of diverse abilities, communication styles, students in distress, and with mental health needs. Assists with emergency response as needed.
* May at times serve as a reader or scribe for students approved for such accommodations.
* Maintains usage data and provides assessment reports on a semester basis.

This information will be used by the Director of ADR to improve processes and provide feedback to the academic departments on possible universal design strategies to improve access for all students.
* Update and maintain student file information in department database (AIM).
* Maintain clean and orderly reception and testing space. Maintain office equipment, supplies, and security measures.

* Basic Qualifications:

*** Associate degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
* Minimum of two (2) years of administrative work experience, OR a combination of education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
* Experience in an educational setting is preferred.
* Knowledge of, and interest in, the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act in relation to their impact on higher education.
