Immediate Supervisor: Supervisor of Transportation

Qualifications: State Certified Bus Operator

• Hold Commercial Driver's License with P & S Endorsements
• Complete or have completed the 40 hours of classroom training & driving requirements
• Hold First Aid Card
• Pass State Mandated Written Test and State Mandated Driving Test
• Department of Motor Vehicles check completed and approved
• Ability to pass physical as required for WV School Bus Operators
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Pass background check
• Other as outlined in the Handbook for School Bus Drivers

Additional requirements:

• Transport students with special needs
• Assist in securing students safely on the bus

Employment Term: Remainder of 200 day contract for the 2025/2026 school year (position will start and stop at the Bus Garage)

Salary: Salary based on experience and education level per CBOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation
