Yard Laborer

Overview

Yard Laborer This is an entry-level Yard Laborer position in Avella, PA
. In this role, you will support daily yard operations, and basic equipment operation to ensure a safe, and organized environment. These are full-time positions with competitive salary and benefits available.

Wage: $18.00+/hr, with potential for overtime

• Perform general labor and maintenance duties to support daily operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard, including shoveling, and removing debris or excess materials.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently within its designed parameters, assist with basic maintenance tasks such as oiling and greasing equipment as assigned.
• Load, unload, move, and organize materials within the yard.
• Assist maintenance, operations, and other departments as needed to meet business demands.
• Identify and promptly communicate issues, safety concerns, or mechanical issues to supervisors.
• Be proactive to eliminate hazards and maintain clear, safe work areas.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

• Monday through Friday day shift hours
• Full time hours that may include 8+ hour shifts, 5days per week with occasional overtime and callout’s on weekends/holidays if needed.

• Strong desire to learn, and take on a variety of labor tasks and equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Safety-focused mindset with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated reliability in performance, attendance, and punctuality.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ability to pass background check, and drug & alcohol test required.
• Willingness to have exposure to moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather conditions, dust, and dirt.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, kneel, squat,and handle or grasp tools, equipment, and materials.
• Occasionally required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50–75 lbs.
• Ability to acquire PPE such as safety toe boots, hard hat, and Hi-Vis clothing
