Position:
Caregiver Direct Support Professional (DSP) at REM West Virginia. Part Time Evening Positions Available.

• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve and support participants to be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
• Provide care and support to individuals with developmental goals such as budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise, and nutrition.
• Support participants with a variety of needs, including autism and similar conditions, and assist with personal hygiene as part of assisted living when needed.
• Work with individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs, ensuring a respectful, dignified approach.
• Demonstrate ownership and trust from leaders to do what’s right for participants.

• Learning and development:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination (preferred).
• Skills: Caregiver - Direct Support Professional (DSP) - STNA - Resident Assistant - Home Health Aide - Assisted Living – Group Home – Human Services.
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance in some positions
