The Applications Development Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of system development and maintenance of in-house and outsourced applications including design, coding, testing, deployment, documentation and project management. This includes hands‑on experience, managing client/server and Web-based application development for the Windows .NET (C#, SQL Server) environment and Java / J2EE.
Requirements- 8 or more years progressive experience in applications development, business analysis and project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Extensive experience with systems development methodologies (i.e. SDLC, AGILE, etc.).
- Experience in managing projects involving .NET, SQL Server, Crystal, Java, DB2, Oracle on the Windows platform.
- Experience with Global Custody, multi-currency accounting, international banking, and Securities Processing application systems.
- Knowledge on managing the projects using Java, JSP, spring and FLEX and experience with Web Logic, JBoss, Site Minder and Cognis is a plus.
- Knowledge of industry best practices such as PMI, CMMI, ITIL, etc.
