The Club at Longview is seeking a motivated and skilled Assistant Equipment Manager to join our golf course maintenance team. Under the direction of the Equipment Manager and/or Golf Course Superintendent, the Assistant Equipment Manager plays a key role in maintaining and repairing gasoline-, diesel-, and electric‑powered golf course maintenance equipment. This role involves both independent work and team collaboration, with a strong emphasis on preventative maintenance, safety, and shop organization.

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain golf course maintenance equipment.
• Communicate equipment needs and repair priorities with management.
• Perform preventative maintenance and daily equipment inspections.
• Set up, adjust, and modify new equipment as needed.
• Repair engines, cutting units, and mowing equipment.
• Ensure equipment is fueled, lubricated, and operating safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient maintenance facility.
• Assist with parts inventory management.
• Follow all safety, recycling, and environmental procedures.

• Working knowledge of gasoline-, diesel-, and electric-powered equipment.
• Experience with golf course or turf equipment maintenance preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and tool proficiency.
• Understanding of workplace safety practices.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
