As a Store Manager in Training, you’ll engage in on-the-job training to learn how to manage the profitable operations of your assigned store by maintaining a high standard for merchandising and store signage and using proper display techniques to create an inviting atmosphere for customers. Your day-to-day duties include:

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve our customers
• Foster the growth and development of associates through training and coaching
• Oversee & delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Implement operational and merchandising direction from headquarters
• Help the store reach its maximum profit contribution
• Protect company assets
• Maintain a high level of customer service across the store
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience (hardlines or variety merchandise; Big Box experience a plus)
• Strong productivity management in freight processing
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and meet physical demands (reasonable accommodation available)
