Job Description
This position serves as backup or assistant to the Executive Chef at the UR Highland Nutrition in Medicine Research Center on an as-need basis. Hours will be assigned when backup for the Executive Chef is needed (for example, during Chef’s vacations, sick days, etc.) or the Chef requires additional assistance for preparing meals or making meal deliveries to research subjects.
Salary Range:
$20.00 - $27.00 an hour
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Job Requirements
- Education:
High School diploma - Experience:
2 year working knowledge and execution of scratch cooking. - Must have a Serv Safe certification.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Skills:
Culinary expertise; - Schedule will not be regular, but will instead be on an as-needed basis.
