Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Special Procedures (IR) for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. As a Special Procedures RN, you will be responsible for setup and assist physicians with procedures as needed (i.e., abscess drainage, biopsy, consent for invasive procedures and follow-ups, as necessary). We want you to apply now! What You Will Do In Your Role:
You will be responsible for EKG monitoring, when necessary

You will be responsible for administering medications/blood as ordered

You will be responsible for start of saline locks and IV's according to IVP/CT protocol

You will be responsible for catheterization of patients in department

You will monitor patients receiving IV sedation under the direct supervision of the Radiologist You will be responsible for informing the Radiologist/Technologist of any penitent changes in the patient's condition What qualifications you will need:
Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required

BSN is preferred1 year of RN critical care experience in an acute care setting preferred

Current BLS & ACLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required Benefits
