As a Registered Nurse on the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients, manage rehabilitation unit operations, and participate in quality improvement and patient care conferences.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients.
• Meet Standards of Practice for the Rehabilitation Unit and manage assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment.
• Participate in activities to plan, measure, assess, and improve the quality of patient care.
• Instruct patients/families regarding disease process.
• Complete additional admission paperwork specific to the Rehabilitation Unit.
• Participate in weekly patient care conferences as needed.
• Charge the unit as needed.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or Multi‑State Compact License; must obtain Texas RN within 90 days of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• One year of clinical rehabilitation experience as a licensed RN.
• Experience in rehabilitation, med/surg, long‑term care, LTACH, LTC, inpatient settings.
