• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for assigned patients.
• Meet the Standards of Practice for the Rehabilitation Unit and manage all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment.
• Participate in activities to plan, measure, assess and improve the quality of patient care.
• Instruct patients/families regarding the disease process.
• Complete additional admission paperwork specific to the Rehabilitation Unit.
• Participate in weekly patient care conferences, as needed.
• Assume the responsibility of charging the unit, as needed.

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing is required; BSN is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi‑State Compact License (employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire).
• Current BLS Certification is required.
• 1 year of clinical Rehabilitation experience as a licensed RN required (Rehabilitation, Med Surg, Long‑term care, LTACH, LTC, Inpatient, IP).
