Houston Physicians Hospital is currently seeking to hire a Full Time Quality and Patient Safety Program Manager!
ResponsibilitiesThe Quality and Patient Safety Program Manager is responsible for managing the hospital’s performance improvement, quality, and patient safety programs. This role promotes an organization-wide culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement by analyzing clinical data, facilitating performance improvement initiatives, overseeing patient safety and peer review processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Qualifications- Five years of clinical nursing experience and/or experience with data abstraction from medical records, analyzing and interpreting processes, clinical outcomes, and costs of care
- Other required skills include excellent written and verbal communication as well as working knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Word and Excel) and web-based applications.
- Prior experience with clinical chart review, Medial Peer Review, and abstraction is preferred.
- Bachelor s degree in health care administration, nursing, or a related clinical field preferred
- RN license in State of Texas Required
