RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in Emergency Department with 45-bed capacity

• Patient ratio: 4:1

• Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge, 1 Navigator, 7 RNs, 1 Paramedic, 1 Nurse Tech, 1 Unit Secretary

• 4 weekend shifts per schedule required

• Day shift weekend requirements:
Saturday & Sunday day shift

• Night shift weekend requirements:
Friday & Saturday night

• Work with GE Monitors & EKGs, Life Pak Monitors, Pyxis Medication Dispensing System

• EMR system:
Meditech

• Perform typical emergency procedures including reduction/splinting, chest tube placement, accessing Port-a-Cath, blood product administration, and intubation

• Ultrasound Guided IV Placement preferred skill

• Must be respectful, team-oriented, and stay calm under pressure

• Required certifications: TNCC, ENPC, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI

• Dress code:
Royal Blue scrubs

• No floating to other areas
