Required Education & ExperienceAssociates degree or higher and ARRTR registered and Certified as a Medical Radiologic Technologist by the Texas Department of Health. Three (3) years Cardiac Cath or Interventional Radiology experience required. Candidate will be expected to achieve certification such as Cardiac Interventional or RCIS certification.
Job SummaryProficient in provision of patient care and technical skills in the operation of Cardiac Catheterization (Cardiac Cath) and Electrophysiology (EP) procedures and equipment. Assist in cardiac catheterization as well as electrophysiology, vascular and interventional procedures. Competently performs emergency procedures associated with catheterization procedure. Follows established standards and practices under the direction of a credentialed invasive cardiologist or electrophysiologist.
