Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cath Lab Technician to join our team for an office-based lab. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining accurate records for patients with cardiac and peripheral vascular disease. The Radiology Technician will work closely with radiologists, healthcare providers, and patients to deliver accurate and timely imaging results.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds as required.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate imaging equipment accurately and efficiently, following established protocols.
- Review and evaluate images for quality and consistency and identify any issues that may require re‑imaging.
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide detailed reports.
- Maintain patient records and imaging documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including radiation safety practices, to protect patients, staff, and yourself.
- Provide clear and compassionate communication to patients regarding procedures and address any concerns or questions.
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in radiology technology and techniques.
- Participate in continuing education opportunities and professional organizations.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Comply with organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
- Performed other duties as assigned.

- Associate/Bachelor’s Degree in radiologic technology or related field preferred.
- Certification and licensure as required by state and federal regulations (e.g., ARRT Certification).
- ACLS Certification
- Proven experience as a Radiology Technician, with expertise in operating diagnostic imaging equipment.
- 1‑2 years of Cath Lab experience required.
- Experience assisting physicians with invasive procedures for patients with cardiac and peripheral vascular disease.
- Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, anatomy, and safety practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
